The initial focus for Dr. Grill is providing an evidenced based DIAGNOSIS for his patients. Developing an idea of where a patient has been (regarding TMJ damage/disease) and what their current situation is will help determine WHERE they are going and HOW to get there. Dr. Grill only provides non-surgical treatment protocols himself. He may elicit the helpful expertise of other clinicians based upon the diagnosis and management plan. Surgical referral is indicated in a small percentage of cases.
Dr. Robert Grill
Dr. Robert Grill and associates have maintained a restorative dental practice in Parkville, Maryland for over 25 years. Building upon this base practice, the majority of Dr. Grill’s time is devoted to the management of TMJ/facial pain patients. Recently, Dr. Grill has opened an office in the Osler Medical Center in Towson, by St. Joseph’s Hospital, that is devoted to TMJ/facial pain management. Dr. Grill takes a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to the diagnosis and treatment of his TMJ patients, providing individualized and compassionate care.
Dr. Grill is a graduate of the University Of Maryland School Of Dentistry and received advanced training at the Mahan Facial Pain Center at the University of Florida, The Pankey Institute, The Piper Clinic, and the Dawson Center. Dr. Grill is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Equilibration Society.
Dr. Robert Grill is a visiting faculty mentor at The Spear Institute & Robert M. Grill, D.D.S. recognized as one of "America's Top Dentists 2009" from Consumer's Research Council of America
Dr. Grill lives in Baldwin, Maryland with his wife Jennifer. He has two children, Courtney and Justin.
